PARIS HILTON FOR KITSON SHOWS HER CHARITABLE HEART

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Paris Hilton, who's boasted that she's a changed woman since leaving jail, is finally doing some charity work (Children's Hospital) though it involves her own clothing line. Giving back is hot!

The heiress staged the launch of her new line at Kitson, of course.

The mob at the store was given the option of buying a $100 voucher for Paris' clothing line which moved them to the front of the line. The event's ad trumpeted,

PARIS HITLON'S GOOD BEHAVIOR CUT JAIL TIME TO 23 DAYS


LOS ANGELES, California - Paris Hilton will serve about half of her 45-day jail sentence and will be separated from the general inmate population, authorities said.

The hotel heiress will spend about 23 days in a "special needs housing unit" at the Century Regional Detention Center in suburban Lynwood, Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

Her sentence was shortened after jail officials gave her credit for good behavior, Whitmore said. Officials considered several factors in calculating the credit, including that she appeared for her latest court date, he said.

Hilton will stay in a unit that contains 12 two-person cells reserved for police officers, public officials, celebrities and other high-profile inmates, he said.

Like everyone else in the 2,200-inmate facility, Hilton will get at least an hour outside her cell each day to shower, watch television, participate in outdoor recreation or talk on the telephone, he said.

The 26-year-old socialite was sentenced to jail this month for violating the terms of her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case. A judge ordered her to report to jail by June 5.

PARIS HILTON MIXES STYLES AT THE FEDERAL COURT

Paris Hilton appeared at the court keeping her head up. Wearing a black and grey suit with Skullheads buttons, black shades, and Chanel 2.55 Classic Flap Bag.

Paris is sentenced to 45 days in Jail for having drove with a suspended license.

Paris Hilton asked Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon her for her mistake. Paris asked him to  allow her to her return to her career and life. Everyone makes mistakes. She didn't hurt or kill anyone, and she has learned her lesson. She is sincere, apologetic, and full of regret for her actions as she explained tearfully to the Judge handling her case in court .She is distraught and understandably afraid.
