PARIS HILTON IS OUT!

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Hotel heiress Paris Hilton walked out of a Los Angeles-area jail early Tuesday with a big smile on her face after serving 23 days for violating her probation on a reckless driving conviction.

With paparazzi and reporters swarming behind a police barrier, Hilton waved and beamed but ignored shouted questions as she left the jail about 12:15 a.m. PT.

She walked past sheriff's deputies into a sport utility vehicle where her parents waited. (Watch as Hilton walks free Video)

he media dogged Hilton as she made her getaway, jockeying for position and snapping photos of the socialite for miles along the Los Angeles freeway system.

When her SUV had to stop at a red light, photographers jumped out of their cars and surrounded it, The Associated Press reported.

KANYE WEST BIRTHDAY AMONG LOUIS VUITTON LUXURY GOODS

1 East 57th Street 10022 New York NY was quite busy last night. Tons of SUV were parked in front of the Flagship Louis Vuitton Store. Kanye West celebrated his 30th birthday with "some friends" among the luxury goods. Are there always scantily clad go-go dancers gyrating among the luxury goods at the Louis Vuitton flagship on 57th Street? We guess not. There was John Legend, who corralled the five levels of exuberant partiers into a happy-birthday sing-a-long for the dapper birthday boy while Diddy, Jay-Z, Pharrel Williams, Jermaine Dupri, and Mariah Carey hung out onstage and off. Fall Out Boy was there but left early (except Pete Wentz, who stayed on with Ashlee Simpson); Gabrielle Union and Ashanti came late. On the well-guarded fourth floor, socialites in short shorts were petting Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker's endless tattoos. The performance at Louis Vuitton ended quickly, and the A-listers piled into SUVs and snuck downtown to Tenjune, where a sweaty, laser-lit show with burlesque dancers warmed up the young crowd for West's encore performance, which included Usher, Diddy, Fabolous, two becandled birthday cakes, and a family-sized bottle of Moët. Did West enjoy his night? "Having the Clipse play in the Louis Vuitton store was a lot of fun!"

Who Said that Nothing happens after 10 pm on the 57th? For private reasons I can't say that Cool

JUDGE SAUER WANTS HIS MINUTE OF FAME - THIS IS ALL BULLSHIT! PARIS HILTON NEED TO GET OUT!

PARIS HILTON was taken handcuffed and crying from her home. She was escorted into court disheveled, without makeup, hair askew and face red with tears.

Crying out for her mother when she was ordered back to jail, Paris Hilton's cool, glamorous image evaporated Friday as she gave the impression of a little girl lost in a merciless legal system.

"It's not right!" shouted the weeping Hilton. "Mom!" she called out to Kathy Hilton, who also was in tears. COULD CLAUSTROPHOBIA BE PARIS HILTON'S MEDICAL ISSUE?

The 26-year-old hotel heiress tried to move toward her parents but was firmly steered away by two sheriff's deputies, who held her by each arm and hustled her from the courtroom.

Judge Michael T. Sauer is making a mockery of the legal system, in my opinion. Oh, and remind me NOT to vote for LA City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo who congratulated Judge Sauer on his decision to send Paris back to jail to server the remainder of her original 45-day sentence. WTF!? This girl does NOT need to be locked up; she is NOT a threat to society; and she's do a lot more good volunteering her time to the city or to the community than she would sitting a jail where they're unequiped to properly protect her and where our tax dollars are being thrown out the window.

SHERIFF BACA IS A RESPECTFUL LAW OFFICER, HE DIDN'T EVEN WANT TO PICK MISS HITLON AT HER RESIDENCE BECAUSE HE DOESN'T HAD TO FOLLOW THE JUDGE'S ORDER. PARIS WAS UNDER HIS AUTHORITY. WATCH THE VIDEO

And let's take a look at JUDGE SAUER'S PAST - he unsuccessfully argued a famous First Amendment case, Cohen v. California, back in 1971. Sauer argued that a guy walking into an LA courthouse wearing a jacket with the words "F*ck the Draft" on it was disturbing the peace and that it was "behavior which has a tendency to provoke others to acts of violence." Attorney Melville Nimmer (who wrote the bible of copyright law - Nimmer on Copyright), crushed Sauer's argument in front of the Supreme Court (thank god), and Sauer retreated to the second most important case of his career, deciding Paris Hilton's fate -- and OH what a job he's done with this one!

PARIS NEEDS TO GET OUT MONDAY! SHE DESERVE TO BE HOME, AND YES POORTOFINO TAN CAME WHEN SHE GOT OUT ON THURSDAY TO GAVE HER A MISTIC SPRAY TAN. YES THAT'S HOT!

MONEY POWER REPSECT! PARIS HILTON IS FREE!

We are all so happy to hear that Paris is now back home!

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Paris Hilton was let out of jail Thursday morning, days after she began serving what was to have been a 45-day sentence for violating probation, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

Hilton must wear a monitoring bracelet and remain at her home for another 40 days, said sheriff's department spokesman Steve Whitmore.

Medical considerations "played a part" in the decision to offer Hilton home confinement for the remainder of her sentence, Whitmore said. (Watch Whitmore detail Hilton's deal Video)

He said privacy rules prohibited him from giving details about the medical issues, but celebrity Web site TMZ.com earlier quoted sources saying Hilton was refusing to eat much of the jail food served her.

Whitmore said that after "extensive consultation with medical personnel" it was decided to offer Hilton "reassignment" to home confinement, which she and her attorneys accepted. (Watch Hilton enter jail Video)

Part of the deal was that her original sentence of 45 days, which had been reduced to 23 days if she showed good behavior behind bars, would be restored to the full length. Although she reported to the jail just before midnight Sunday and departed in the early hours of Thursday, she was given credit for five days, he said.

Whitmore said the decision to send Hilton home was made by a panel of officials in the sheriff's department, although the judge who sentenced her was advised of the move.

"I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally," said Hilton in a statement from her attorney, Richard A. Hutton. "I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes."

Hilton was arrested on charges of drunken driving in September.

LINDSAY LOHAN IS THE JILL STUART FACE - 100% REHAB STYLE

Lindsay Lohan is the new face of Jill Stuart’s print ad fall winter 2007-08 campaign — the first time a celebrity has shilled for the contemporary designer.

The campaign features Lindsay hugging the Emelle tote in black patent leather and was shot in Tokyo by Mario Sorrenti, when Lindsay was in Japan last month.

Stuart said, “I can’t say enough fantastic things about Lindsay. She is sexy and smart, exactly what the Jill Stuart woman embodies.”

“[Lindsay] resonates with the contemporary consumer on many levels,” said Tim Schifter, chairman and chief executive officer of Schifter + Partners, the accessories firm that holds the license for Jill Stuart handbags and small leather goods. “Mario’s photographs capture Lindsay’s sensual beauty and Jill’s modern fashion, and his choice of black and white adds glamour and intrigue to the images.”

FROM BIG AWARDS TO THE BIG HOUSE: PARIS HILTON'S LAST NIGHT OUT

LYNWOOD, California (AP) -- Hours after strolling the red carpet in a strapless black dress, Paris Hilton traded her designer duds for a jail-issued jumpsuit.

The 26-year-old heiress checked into the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday. She's expected to serve three weeks for violating her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

Hilton surrendered to sheriff's deputies after making a surprise visit to the MTV Movie Awards in the afternoon.

"I am trying to be strong right now," she told reporters on the red carpet. "I'm ready to face my sentence. Even though this is a really hard time, I have my family, my friends and my fans to support me, and that's really helpful." (Watch Hilton make her comments Video)

Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said Hilton was easy to work with.

I was surprised to see that they allowed Paris to keep her make up and extensions.

Paris Look ---> She's wearing a short-sleeved, orange jumpsuit. She still has on the makeup she was wearing last night. Her hair is down. Oh yeah, speaking of hair, we were told ixnay on the hair extensions, but that's not the case with her. The staff allows extensions that are "tightly wound." We're told Paris meets that standard, so she has been allowed to keep hers.

SCARLETT JOHANSSON RECOGNIZABLE FOR THE FALL WINTER 2007-08 LOUIS VUITTON CAMPAIGN

SCARLETT MARK TWO: For her sequel as the face of another Louis Vuitton campaign, Scarlett Johansson played a role with which she's extremely familiar: movie star. Evoking at turns Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly, Johansson displays voluptuous glamour in the color-drenched fall spots, slated to break in August fashion magazines.

"In this one, she's much more recognizable," said Antoine Arnault, Vuitton's communications director, who allowed that the actress is not always immediately identifiable in the current spring ads in her role as the French-coquette-on-a-swing.

Nevertheless, Arnault dubbed the current campaign a success. He noted that Vuitton creative director Marc Jacobs "adores" Johansson and based his fall-winter collection for the house around her character in "Girl With a Pearl Earring," the 2003 feature film about a peasant girl who becomes the model for 17th-century Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer's most famous work.

The fall campaign, lensed by Vuitton regulars Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, plays up the painterly colors of the ready-to-wear. "It's probably one of the most beautiful campaigns Mert and Marcus have ever shot," Arnault said. "It's a very iconic campaign."
