A couple of good opinion pieces in media
It is worth reading a couple of opinion pieces in the national media this week, which examine Britain's slide towards a surveillance police state under this Labour Government:
- Guy Herbert, General Secretary of the NO2ID Campaign in The Times on Wednesday 19th October 2006 - "We are the watchers. We help you"
- Henry Porter in The Independent on Thursday 19th October 2006 - "The limits of liberty: We're all suspects now"
Comments
I honestly believe that a future generation are going to look back on us now and wonder how/why the hell we let all this happen.
Its starting to get a bit Embarrassing.

Jake, yeah we are just about there already on that one. With all the cameras around the place its kind of like one those low security prisons. You know the ones, where the prisoners are allowed to work and pay taxes:)
