Tree on Track

| | Comments (2)

Yesterday a tree fell onto the tube tracks at Barons Court and closed the Piccadilly and District lines for a few hours....

The Internet cafe crashed twice this week....

Dr-K's book is not being published till the 1st of March.....

On the way back there was a *pissed woman trying to use a fag packet as an oyster card.....?

What that time already ?

Hi everyone,
The hole got finally filled in but they decided to pave over the stop cock valve for the water supply, so if the premises get a burst water pipe they can not shut off the water....Duhhh

Yesterday a tree fell onto the tube tracks at Barons Court and closed the Piccadilly and District lines for a few hours...I was lucky as they decided to let my train through and manually push the branches out of the way of the train, as we squeezed through you could see and hear the branches scraping along the side of the tube.

On the way back there was a *pissed woman trying to use a fag packet as an oyster card.....? She was shouting " I`ve put the fuqin thing on the reader why won`t it let me through? " :-)

The Internet cafe crashed twice this week, adding up to 9 hours downtime and loadsa disgruntled customers walking out....it seems that the Sysad is having a few problems with setting up Apache, Redhat 9 and Windows 98 to get on with each other ;-)

Dr-K's book is not being published till the 1st of March.....I asked my local bookshop to ring the publishers and find whats happening as it was due out on the 31st of January.

Well that's it for now and as usual thanks for reading my Ratblog.

Yours
The Reverend Rat.
