What an effin day!!!...

Hi all,
I was going to update the blog with my latest views on my sightings of strange and wonderfull things today....but...it was peeing down with rain and I am no way war walking in that!
I might be impervious to water but my laptop isn`t.

But it turns out that that one of the server`s I connect through, is down at the moment as the company that owns it is changing hands...Oh well, the rain saved me a wasted journey :-)

So my last blog and this one are going to have to be e-mailed to a friend to put them out from his box which means the photos will have to wait as I havn`t worked out how to convert jpegs to html without the wonders of Moveable type... @:-}
But don`t worry normal service will continue...whatever.....

-------------------

I am splodging through the rain down the high street and I see this disabled persons four wheeled electric wheelchair complete with canopy, careering down the footpath towards lots of "Sheeple" at the bus stop, these things are nearly twice my weight (the buggy not the sheeple :-) and I`m 13.5 stone,....with....wait for it!.....a "Yorkshire Terrier" driving it!!! and with no sign of the owner????

The owner had gone into one of the shops with her walking sticks and left her toasted sandwich filling....oops sorry ...dog, "IF"..you want to call one of those a things a dog?.....tethered to the joystick go faster bit, and left the buggy switched on,
Potential dinner got upset about something and was jumping up at the windscreen jerking the joystick and shot forward with me having to catch up, jump on and then persuade the little sh*t from not biting me and get the damned buggy thing to stop.

The amazing bit is the stupid idiots herded under the bus stop were not going to give up their space out of the rain, even if it meant being run over by this small but heavy dog driven device???
I stopped the buggy just under a metre from them and it was like they hadn`t even noticed anything untoward had happened,

LOCK and LOAD comes to mind...;-)

Then the woman came out yelling at me thinking I was nicking the damn thing ...ho hum Just another day in Hammersmith :-)

------------------

The local tobacco shop has done a refurb` on their shop and hired a sandwich type chiller cabinet,
They wanted the biggest that would fit through the door and gave the measurements to the suppliers in "Pigeon English" and an agreement was made...the delivery truck turned up and stuck the thing on mini manual forklifts, after lots of struggling they ended up getting the unit stuck in the doorway....they forgot to allow for the height of the forklifts while calculating the measurements, it was teeming down with rain and the language was just as colourful as yesterdays experience at Leicester square... :-)

It took them one and a quarter hours to sort it ....Bwahaha.... it was like something out of a comedy film.

*WANTED*

Ideas and upfront funding (the cheapest price so far is ?200...but might haggle to ?140) for the London 2600 xmas party,... or else we are not having one....failing that, a venue that is in the centre of town, but is free, and will allow us to get up to our usual harmless jinks :-) preferably with a bar....or will allow us to bring our own drink...and open with extended hours ...the more the better ;-)
E-mail me if you have any good leads on this....don`t forget to take out "monkey" from the URL :-) to be found on the home page.

I can`t think of anything else to write at the moment,
So it`s goodnight to all and sundry, and take it easy.
