I missed the first day of the show because I ended up at a party last night that didn`t stop till 14:30Hrs :-)

I got to see the fireworks and they wern`t as big they said but there is a lot of them,
They are recognised brands and they paid about ?150.00 for them, I tested a couple and all seems ok, mind you if they went off where they are then there wouldn`t be a lot left of the Church hall...

I can now go ahead with my usual set up which is nice and easy as it`s the same format I use each year...the weather is very wet and looks like it will be here for the display, if it dosn`t then it won`t be traditional, as every year it has chucked it down but it dosn`t affect the crowd,
I will have an audience of 120 people half of which are kids and the other half even bigger kids:-)
In all the years I have done it, as I have not had a single member of the crowd injured, so I must be doing something right...

We all get fed with old style hotdogs with boiled onions in a roll, soup, sandwiches, jacket spuds with cheese, and coffee or tea, and if you include the cost of the fireworks the people are getting a good deal for two quid a head, it is always sold out weeks in advance.

After the display I tidy up and leg it to the 2600 meeting usually getting there for half nine.
