Hi Everyone,

Wednesday sees me off to "The London School of Economics" in Aldwych for a "Privacy International" public debate called "Scrambling for safety", and this time the issue was about Data retention, for more on this check out Spy.org.uk or Privacy International`s website...sorry I don`t know the Url and there`s to much for me to remember and type up,

We were in the company of allsorts of people from the Home Office, The National Computer crime unit, MP`s, Lawyers, Press, Students and a whole load of other people.

Half way through the event there was a whole lot of noise outside with Freddie Murcury at full volume blasting out of a PA, lots of Old Bill bike sirens going off and loadsa chanting, it seems that there was an anti war/troops out of Iraq going past at full volume and drowned out the talking in the room....

Trying to find the toilet in that place is a nightmare...but I found one at the Student Bar...
Wahey, Cyder at ?1.45 a pint in a glass or downstairs in a plastic glass ?1.00 :-)
Loo then pint and straight back upstairs.

After the questions and answers were done with, we all went to a really expensive pub next door and had a chin wag,
The "Fed" guy`s were a little bemused by my friend and I`s knowledge on some subject points, and that we even knew about them...when they asked how? do you know about these things? we answered with a smile...nuff said :-)

A great big pile of munchies turned up (Thanxs Privacy) and I walked out feeling well stuffed and headed for the Student bar with a couple of people....

Well it might have been a Wednesday night but it didn`t seem to damage the turn out in the bar, there was a lot of good looking people in there and lot`s of females with not to much in the way of clothing...I`m sure that there wasn`t that much naked flesh at my College ;-)

There I am sitting there nonchalantly chatting and this voice from behind me say`s bloody hell Rat ! what you doing here? it turns out that the guy is a fellow London 2600 member and is studying here :-)

After a couple more pints we decide to have a smoke or two with mother nature, and then set off for our respective homes.
