The Law Lords are hearing a couple of cases until Thursday 24th July next week, but there are no Judgments listed on the current schedule for the end of the Trinity Term:

I have backed gary from the beginning purely because i believe in so much of what he was aiming to do, it disgusts me of what people ar going to him to cover up 'unknown'

Text: LONDON - The British government should no longer accept US assurances that it does not use torture, a parliamentary oversight committee said on Sunday in a wide-ranging report looking at London's human rights policy.

Ministers have previously taken at face value statements from their US counterparts, including Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and President George W. Bush, that Washington does not resort to such practices.

But the cross-party foreign affairs committee said that stance should be abandoned given admissions from the US director of national intelligence, Michael McConnell, that "water-boarding" had been used on terror suspects.

Foreign Secretary David Miliband has told parliament on two occasions this year that the practice, which simulates drowning during interrogation, amounts to torture.

Miliband's position has "serious implications" for government policy, the committee said in its 214-page Human Rights Annual Report 2007-8.

"We conclude that, given the clear differences in definition, the UK can no longer rely on US assurances that it does not use torture, and we recommend that the government does not rely on such assurances in the future," it added.

Britain is a signatory to a United Nations convention that prevents the extradition of suspects to countries where torture is used. If adopted, a change in approach could affect such transfers.

The committee also called for Britain to carry out an "exhaustive analysis" of US government interrogation techniques and seek guarantees about whether US flights carrying terror suspects used British airspace or airports.

Earlier this year, the United States admitted that two "rendition" flights landed on Diego Garcia, a British overseas territory in the Indian Ocean where there is a US air base.

Britain, whose policy is not to allow such transfers where there is a risk of torture, had earlier accepted assurances that its territory had not been used for the extra-judicial transfer of suspected extremists.

Such flights should not use British territory or airspace, even if no detainees were on board, the committee said.

Elsewhere, the committee urged an investigation into claims that six British nationals were detained and tortured by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency and interrogated by British security agents.

The British government has denied that it has "outsourced" interrogation to extract information for court proceedings or counter-terrorism operations.

Just to let you know that the House of Lords Judgement is to be announced on Wednesday 30th July.

I really feel sorry for this man and i support him.

He's not a yob, he never tried to hurt anyone, he simply tried to find out the truth about a certain subject that's all.

Surely the truth about things is what we all deserve as people, it should be a fundemental right of everyone to know the truth.

After all, do people really deserve nothing better than to be the constant victim of distortion, lies and deception from governments who clearly have gone completely mad with power and control that they crave these things about 100 times worse than a hopeless heroin addict craves their next fix?, and remember a real heroin addict will do anything just to get their next fix.

Do people really deserve to be seen as Peasant's, Slave's, Rodent's or ant's to be treated and trampled on according to the government's will?.

This case is the perfect example of "The Duel Reality princible" in operation.

In "The Duel Reality princible" two reality's exist.

One reality is completely (or almost completely) fiction.

This is the reality that is spun and created for the people by the government with the help of the mainstream media and the reality that the people are expected to beleive without question.

The other reality is the real one (the truth) that the authority's think that they have the sole rights to.

They get angry if the sheep/pesent's try to learn the real reality.

In this case "The Duel Reality princible" is operated by the US government.

Some people who have even committed murder in the US have not had the kind sentences touted by the prosecution that Gary Mckinnon's prosecutors have said he should face.

They say he should face at least 60-70 years in prison and some have said he should fry.

To my mind this goes to prove beyond doubt that they rate someone trying to find the truth as having committed a more serious crime than someone who has murdered another human being in a cold and calculated way.

This in turn also goes to prove that telling the truth to the people isn't exactly high in their agenda list.

I can understand this severe a sentence being given to an evil serial murderer or child molester, but someone who wants to know the truth?.

No, these are bully boy tactics by the US designed to frighten people and keep the peasant's in their place.

I mean, how DARE someone try to find out the truth, the only truth is what the government and the media tells you it is RIGHT!!!!!!!! (heh, heh, heh!).

If your wanted to know whats hiding above the sky, and how they are alike, keep the power on, because one of us will show the truth soon or later. It may be a crime again.
I want to see these things myself.

It will be a shame when in future the Ufo stuff will be opened complete to the public.
Because Gary has to be free at least.

When it comes to this sort of thing, the US justice system has no perspective at-all: a big message saying ENEMY is flashing across their inner screens. Pray that McCain doesn't get in and finish the Bush project of peopling it with exclusively far right Rebublicans and also pray that British justice will choose to try him here after all!!
