Boris Johnson MP - 2nd reading Police and Justice Bill re Extradition to the USA

Conservative MP for Henley, Boris Johnson made a speech during the Second Reading debate on the Police and Justice Bill. which highlighted the unfair provisions of the Extradition Act 2003, regarding extradition to the USA.

This affects Gary McKinnon, Babar Ahmad, the Enron / NatWest 3 bankers and others.

Boris is proposing that the Police and Justice Bill, which, in part, amends and further complicates the Extradition Act, should have a clause put into it which would effectively go back to the 1972 treaty with the USA, where there is a requirement for prima facie evidence in both UK to USA and USA to UK rxtraditions, until the US Congress actually ratifies the 2003 treaty.
