EchoVolt
At last - an entry in the music category - its been a long time ...
I've been listening to EchoVolt for a while now.
EchoVolt are a local band that have a have a lot of raw energy and play a blend of rock/industrial with spanish influences.
They play live best in a nice sweaty space with lots of noise and people dancing - but their studio stuff is also great.
Their "Infected" CD has the production edge you would expect from a studio offering while still capturing their raw energy - and now they are making a new one ...
I was lucky enough to blag a copy of an unmixed version of their (untitled) new album - but with no track listings.
A review will have to wait until I get more info - but at a first glance it is looking good.
No - at a first glance it is looking more than good - if you like this kind of thing of course - and I do ...

I've seen you live about 3 times now - Sala Fussion Art (before it closed down and became "Pepe's Pub" - and a couple of open air gigs.
I've only had a rough (unmixed) copy of the new CD - but I liked it enough to comment ..
I've asked Jayne for tracks and samples for a remix - but she seems to have forgotten - remind her for me please ...
Meanwhile good luck - and why oh why were Echovolt not playing with Trashtucada at Parque Las Albinas last night ...

The new Cd it´s unmmixed yet, we are waiting for studio finish.
We will put it in our website for free download to all people.
I was on saturday trashtucada but not playing, we will play on July in las Albinas with Fangoria, Vulcano 6, La trueke Band and Wha wha wicked.
I dont usually talk with Jane, my brother Carlos (singer) usually do it.
