Chocolate Christ "a sickening display"
Our wonderful modern culture has turned up another odd tale: Display of Controversial 'Chocolate Jesus' Sculpture Cancelled
A planned Holy Week exhibition of a nude, anatomically correct chocolate sculpture of Jesus Christ was canceled Friday amid a choir of complaining Catholics that included Cardinal Edward Egan.But word of the confectionary Christ infuriated Catholics, including Egan, who described it as "a sickening display."
I would consider 200 pounds of milk chocolate sickening too - and I guess we can expect Christians to riot all over the world - again ...
