re: love (the wrong kind)

friends,

good evening, and welcome to simplemuzik.net! i just posted episode 268, and want to let you know.

this week brings us two versions of a brand new song from me (the opener is a live version from tonight, and the closer is a "studio" version from garageband). in between, i mention a few thoughts inspired by the song “I have loved you wrong” by the band the swell season, and play another experimental version of the (also new) song “feelings for facts”. hope you can listen!

the links below will allow you to:
- hear the song - “i have loved you wrong”
- discover the band - the swell season
- see the documentary film about glen and marketa
- own your own copy of the film once

my sincere thanks go out to you for being here and for listening and for sharing all this with me. wishing you a great week! :)

love,
russell

remember me

friends,

good evening, and welcome to episode 266! tonight brings us back to some beautiful music from our friend ryan (a.k.a. julius caesar, dwayne hoover, and others). ryan’s been kind enough to share his music with the podcast for many years, and i’m very happy to present one of his new songs, along with a few of my all-time ryan favorites.

in between the songs, i find myself rambling with a few impressions of the film remember me. i really hope you can take a listen. :)

love,
russell

ps - as follow up re: the possibility of an "enhanced" podcast, i'm disappointed to report that i'm unable to create an enhanced version in .mp3 format. the apple software requires enhanced podcasts to be in .acc format (which is lame beyond words, agreed). so, as fun as it would be to enhance to podcast, i can't require all listeners to listen on an apple product. sorry apple. if anyone has ideas on other software to use, please let me know, ok?
