meeting without meeting

good evening friends, and welcome to episode 260! i’m happy to post tonight’s podcast, + spin a few new and evolving tunes, + mention a small thought (as quoted from leslie feist) about how music can unite strangers. i think these songs and that idea mix well. if you’re around an mp3 playing device, and have twenty minutes, i hope you’ll take a listen. :)

more can be discovered from leslie feist (aka feist) at: listentofeist.com and: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feist.

sincerely,
russell

natural magic

friends,

good evening and welcome to episode 259! tonight brings us to some victorian poetry (by way of elizabeth barrett and robert browning), a few songs (including a new one) by my friend rolf (aka scarlett orphan), and a brand (brand) new song by me. i hope you'll take a listen. :)

if you like the poems, you can find more on elizabeth barrett browning here, more on robert browning here, and catch a glimpse into their erotographomania by clicking here.

wishing a great week to all,
russell

epictetus, etc.

friends,

the podcast is back!! thanks to all for staying tuned amidst my recent travel. i have more travel yet to come in the next few months, but will happily be back in san francisco for the next few weeks. tonight brings us to episode 258 – recorded a few days back – live from logan circle in d.c. the podcast finds me in typical travel-rambling mode – this time fueled by the concept of philosophical counseling and the greek philosopher epictetus. if you're so inclined, internet research on either (or both) is worth your time. links are above for your research ease. ;)

things should be mostly back on schedule for the next few weeks, so i promise more podcast fun next week. in the meantime, hope you'll stay with me, and take a listen to episode 258.

cheers, and happy september to all!
russell
