hello friends,
tonight brings us to our final podcast of 2010, and i want to send a huge thank you to everyone who has been a part of the podcast over the past year - which includes, most exceptionally - you for being here, and joining me, and listening. :) episode 224 finds me with a few songs from the past, a few thoughts about the year that's ending, and a hopeful look to 2011.
xtra special thanks go out to my friend john baker for sharing his song "mexico" with us tonight!
wishing you the best,
russell

ps - here're the lyrics... :)
black and blue
tell me of your words
sing of your songs
tell me something i've only heard
from myself before
the end always comes
before you have a chance to see... to see...
i understand what it means
to lose
now and then i mind
what i find to be
just a matter of fact
it seems... it seems...
-chorus1-
think of the moon
remember the space
try not to let it be - come
so black and blue
the shadows are behind the sun
dreaming of the other side
of things.
they don't know what they remember
they just know how it feels... it feels...
to want to be
something free
that exists only honestly
i won't say what it is
i know to be... to be...
-chorus2-
think of the moon
remember the space
between you and me
so black and blue
-chorus1-
think of the moon
remember the space
try not to let it be
so black and blue
