We have a new worship time for EM. As of today, our worship will start at 9:45 am. In the past, our EM worship service began at 1:15 in the afternoon and it made it difficult to utilize the day efficiently. So, there were discussions of changing the worship time, and the completion of the addition to our church now made it possible to do exactly that.
And this is what I hope our Sunday will look like. The Traditional Korean Worship Service will be begin at 9:00 am and as the first worship is coming to a close in the main sanctuary, the EM worship will begin at 9:45 am in the Wesley Chapel (Youth Room). The Salem Café will begin serving a light breakfast and coffee at the end of the first service till the beginning of the KM’s main blended service at 11 am. I am hoping that the café will serve as a fellowship place not only for those attending KM services, but also the members of the EM ministry. The EM service will end by 10:35, so the youth can begin to set up for their worship service. Those who are in EM will be able to fellowship at Salem Café after the EM service and before they are headed to their respective ministry, such as children’s ministry or youth ministry. We will also provide small group ministries for the rest of the EM congregation who want to stay for lunch. Little after 12 pm, all Bible Studies and services will come to an end and we will all come together as a church family to enjoy lunch together.
I believe that if we can make this worship schedule work, we can get a stronger bond between EM and KM. I believe that this will create a place where we can combine our strength to do greater things. Your help and prayer will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
