SECRETARY-GENERAL Perez de Cuellar: I trust i can ask you to provide ISRAELI AMBASSADOR TO THE UNITED NATIONS Benjamin Netanyahu with copies of my July 2, 1985 and August, 1986 statements to Clovis Maksoud and August, 1986 statement to SOVIET GENERAL SECRETARY Mikhail Gorbachev. Three months have gone by now since the threatened lawsuit arose, as i describe in the statement copies here with November, 1987 dates. However, i haven't heard back from Ottawa, or more recently from Washington. Thus, my financial resources remain limited. I'd appreciate this favour, and i believe the Israeli authorities would also.

List of Contents for February 6, 1988 submission to UNITED NATIONS SECRETARY-GENERAL Javier Perez de Cuellar:

1) two-page statement to UNITED NATIONS SECRETARY-GENERAL Javier Perez de Cuellar, dated February 6, 1988.

--copies of November 12, 1987 letter from the Honourable Ms. Pat Carney and December 28, 1987 letter from John J. Phelan, Jr., CHAIRMAN AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE, provided at front of submission--

SECRETARY GENERAL Perez de Cuellar: I can't afford to enclose copies of the statements to Mr. Phelan, Hudson, and Bunting of the stock exchanges presently. I'll send them to you with the follow-up statement to Clovis Maksoud at the end of March, 1988, or sooner if i can afford to and it appears necessary.
I believe Mr. Phelan's letter makes clear he treated my first submission to him seriously.
If you have to get in touch with me sooner, and it's a situation requiring more urgency than a written response by mail can provide, telephone me c/o ------------ after 3 p.m. E.S.T. (It's obviously not my own phone, but they accept messages for me or if i'm home, will call me to take calls.)

Referred to President Jimmy Carter in my last registered letter to him, on May 5, 1986:

"The use of force alone is but temporary. It may subdue for a moment; but it does not remove the necessity of subduing again; and a nation is not governed, which is perpetually to be conquered."
