Investment made in Vector Aerospace Corporation

ST. JOHN'S, NL, Jan. 21 /CNW/ - An investment in Vector Aerospace Corporation ("Vector") has been made by Killick Capital Inc. ("Killick"). Vector is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (the "TSX") under the trading symbol "RNO".

On January 20, 2005, Killick acquired 2,636,400 Common Shares of Vector on the TSX, which together with the 22,000 Common Shares of Vector already owned by Killick and the 1,049,411 Common Shares of Vector held by Mark Dobbin, the President and controlling shareholder of Killick (for a total of 3,707,811 Common Shares), represents 10.8% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares of Vector, based on the public records of Vector.

The Common Shares are being acquired for investment purposes. Neither Killick nor Mark Dobbin has any current intention of acquiring ownership of or control or direction over any additional Common Shares. Killick, and/or Mark Dobbin, may in the future acquire additional shares of Vector in the market, pursuant to private transactions or otherwise, sell all or some portion of the shares of Vector they own or enter into derivative or other transactions with respect to their shares of Vector.

CT Aerospace (Carrollton, Texas)

Mark Dobbin
Mr. Dobbin is the Founder and President of Killick Capital Inc. From 1998 to 2003 Mr. Dobbin was the Chairman and CEO of Vector Aerospace Corporation, a globally-recognized aviation repair and overhaul Company. Prior to Vector he was employed for 17 years at CHC Helicopter Corporation, the world’s largest helicopter company – serving as senior vice president and a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Dobbin is a 1981 graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN’s) Bachelor of Commerce (co-op) program, and also holds an MBA from Dalhousie. Mr. Dobbin served on the Board of Director’s of Stratos Global Corporation, Aurora Energy Resources Inc, Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro and Aerospace Industries Association of Canada. He is a board member for Killick's investee companies which include Plasco Energy Group, Max Arts-Athletics-Wellness, Avatas Aerospace, Verafin Inc. and Greyfirst Corporation.

Tom Williams
Mr. Williams is the Vice-President of Investments of Killick Capital Inc. Prior to joining Killick Capital Inc., Mr. Williams was the Director of Corporate Development at CHC Helicopter Corporation and at Vector Aerospace Corporation. Previous to that, Mr. Williams worked at Grant Thornton, a leading firm of chartered accountants. Mr. Williams has been instrumental in due diligence and in the acquisition of a number of companies during that period. He is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator.
