CCTimes Lisa V on George's Birthday Party
Hundred's of friends, family, and longtime supporters showed up this past Friday for George's birthday/fund-raiser in Pleasant Hill, California.
While it was hard to top last year's special guest, newly minted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, this year longtime liberal activist and Hollywood action star, Danny Glover, kept the audience on its feet with some rousing rhetoric of his own.
The Contra Costa Time's Lisa Vorderbrueggen was there and had this to say:
