Rep. Miller proposes legislation to preserve the site of Port Chicago

Rep. Miller proposed a bill this week to turn Port Chicago, CA into a National Park. Today on NPR he told the story of the 320 men, nearly all of them African Americans, who died when the US Naval Base at Port Chicago caught fire during World War II.  Listen to this amazing story here.

House Passes Overhaul Plan on Student Aid
