The federal minimum wage went up for the first time in over a decade yesterday, thanks to the efforts of Rep. George Miller, Chairman of the House Committee on Education & Labor, and Sen. Ted Kennedy, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions. Rep.
